Our First Week in School

Mark Babich, Elijah Primachenko

We reviewed over our first topic of Missionary school. Apologetic, the study of rational explanation of the Christian Faith. We learned that this topic was always in the Bible, and that we as Christians don't address this topic seriously. "(15) Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. (16)Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ." -NLT-1 Peter 3:15-16. As we went through class with our instructor, Victor Dzhubak, we learned not just about this subject and reoccurring questions that many people ask today, but also about the people we learn with in school. Someone knows this persons brother, went to their church, cousins through marriage, or even learning that they come from the same state. We went into such philosophical debates in class that even the instructor just ended them. He did mention that we were his most lively class that he has ever instructed whether it was in his house or at a seminar of some sort. If you want a rundown of what we do every day at school, the link is right here between 2:10:23 and 2:19:24. If you think that is a jam packed, imagine what it means to learn through that for the next 5 months and debate whether it is worth coming here. All I can say is that if we didn't come here, then we would not know what is God's will in our lives. Thank God that we have Gods strength and not our own. "(8) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. (9)Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." -NLT- Ephesians 2:8-9.

May you continue to pray for us. God bless
